Marcus baked a loaf of bread, he cut the bread into equal size pieces. at the end of the party there were 6 pieces left, if ⅙ of the bread was left how do u find the number of pieces that were in the whole loaf?

Here, we want to get the number of pieces in the whole loaf

From the question, we have that the six pieces left is same as one-sixth of the total number of pieces

Let the total number of pieces be x

Thus, we have it that;


\begin{gathered} (1)/(6)*\text{ x = 6} \\ \\ x\text{ = 6}*6 \\ x\text{ = 36 pieces} \end{gathered}
