supreme sold 29 tires. Set it up like this, with Supreme as your x and Prestige as y: 48x + 56y = 2008. This is an equation in terms of money, with x being the number of Supreme tires sold at $48 each and y being the number of Prestige tires sold at $56 each. We know that Prestige sold 11, so sub it for y and do the math: 48x = 2008 - 616; x = 29
