a bicycle tire completes 9/10 of a revolution every 1/3 second. How many revolutions will the tire complete every minute

The tire would complete 162 revolutions every minute.
There is 60 seconds in a minute. You need to multiply that by 3 for the 1/3. That would give you 180. Then you need to multiply your 9/10 by 180. I changed that to fraction form which would be .9. 180*.9=162
