The answer would be x= 23. You would get this by remembering thr square root of 25. I hoped I helped a bit

We need to isolate x. We first need to get "rid" of the radical. Since the square root is found by finding a factor that multiplies itself to equal that number we would find the square.

sqrt x + 2 ^2 = 5^2

x + 2 = 25

Now we subtract 2 from each side.

x = 23
