This is my social studies assignment. I need to write 4 letters from 2 penpals in Ancient Rome. Here is the assignement.

During Lessons 1–6, you learned about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. You have watched movies, explored websites, studied photos, and read about the social, political, historical, and geographical aspects of this society. As part of your learning, you will complete a portfolio project. It will represent new ideas and facts that you have learned in the course. Your portfolio assessments will appear in yellow extension boxes; you have three choices and will need to complete one. Most portfolios include creative writing, thought questions, and/or additional exploration of the course topics. The self-selected portfolio is worth 15 points.

Choose one of the following portfolios. Complete and submit your portfolio during Unit 2, Lesson 6.

Option 1: Life in Rome Letters (see attached rubric for more details)

Option 2: Life in Rome Illustrated Story (see attached rubric for more details)

Option 3: Life in Rome Skit (see attached rubric for more details)

I've decided to write the letters.

Imagine that the two young people are pen pals. Create four letters, two from each person. Have each person describe and compare his or her life to the other. Each letter should be at least one paragraph long.

Can you give me examples of these letters? Thanks! 27 points rewarded since this is a hard portfolio.

Julius Ceasar died, so that led the fall of the roman empire. They did invent the 365 day calendar.
