Asthma is a respiratory disease which is caused by inflammation of one's airways. Asthma is a genetic disease, which means you inherit it genetically from your parent(s). You are born with it.

People have asthma is because it is a conditions with your lungs and people might have a bit of a condition and can cause asthma.
