Adam, the solution to this problem is quite similar to the one we worked on just minutes ago:
Step 1: Let's find the length of side b using the ratios of the other two sides we know, as follows:
5.6/14 = 3.2/b
____________
5.6b = 14 * 3.2
5.6b = 44.8
Dividing by 5.6 at both sides:
5.6b/5.6 = 44.8/5.6
b = 8
Step 2: Let's calculate the lenght of side x using the ratios of the other two sides we know once again, this way:
3.2/8 = x/15
___________
8x = 3.2 * 15
8x = 48
Dividing by 8 at both sides:
8x/8 = 48/8
x = 6
