The given equation is

(x+7)=(2x-1)

At first, we have to isolate x on one side and the numerical term on the other side, then

Add 1 to both sides

\begin{gathered} x+7+1=2x-1+1 \\ x+8=2x \end{gathered}

Subtract x from both sides

\begin{gathered} x-x+8=2x-x \\ 8=x \end{gathered}

The solution of the equation is x = 8
