SOLUTION

The Data set given is

4.9,2.7,6.2,5,4.7,5.4,6.5,3.8,12

The minimum of the data set is the lowest data in the distribution

\text{minimun}=2.7

The first quartile is given by

Q_1=((N)/(4)+1)^(th)

where N=frequency of the data=9

Q_1=(9)/(4)+1=1.25+1=2.25^(th)

Then the first quartile becomes

Q_1=4.7

The median is the middle number after arrangement

2.7,3.8,4.7,4.9,5.0,5.4,6.2,6.5,12
undefined
