You found out that a friend in your class collected the same kinds of data age and weight of a backpack) from a similar sample. Your friend found a 0.63 correlation between the two variables. You found a 0.17 correlation between the two variables. Suggest reasons why the results could be so different, using the specific features of your research study.

The difference between the correlations suggests that there is no relation between the analyzed variables. If there was a strong relationship between the variables, two different samples would give similar correlations, which is not the case.
