PLEASE HELP

Do you think it is important for young children to have unstructured activities like free play? Why or why not? Should children have more structured activities, or activities that will help them improve their academic skills? Why or why not?

Answer:

I believe that it is important to have balance. Free play is an important factor in a child's life where they can develop imagination, creativity, friends, and learn to be social. Whereas structured activities such as sports and learning instruments have their own benefits. It is important to keep in mind, to not force kids into doing anything they don't want, as this could cause stress and anxiety which is unhealthy.

I do believe so because children should have a time to relax and play. Having a child under pressure will cause stress and anxiety which is not healthy.

Having structured activities are good because the child can learn to follow a schedule.
