r=d/2 so R= 32/3=16
Circumference is equal to two times radius times pi
So if you use 3.14 for pi then you get 32 times 3.14 which is 100.48in

Answer:

The circumference of the tire is approximately 100.48 inches.

Explanation:

The length of a circumference is defined as

L=2\pi r

Where
L is the length,
\pi \approx 3.14 and
r is the radius of the circumference.

Additionally, we know that the radius is half of the diameter, which in this case is 32 inches. So, the radius is

r=(d)/(2)=(32in)/(2)=16in

Replacing this radius in the expression of the length, we have

L=2\pi r\\L=2\pi (16in)=32 \pi in \approx 100.48 \ in

Therefore, the circumference of the tire is approximately 100.48 inches.
