Natural selection by definition states that the fittest has more chances to reproduce and survive, this advantage is given by the genetic variation in a population (mutations), Therefore taking this into account we can see that, the traits that an organism acquires in its lifetime and passes to offspring is not part of natural selection theory (, in fact this concept is from Lamark which is very different from natural selection,
