The only difference in the equation is that you have c + 2b on the left side and 2b + c on the right side. That is a change of order. Change of order in addition is the commutative property.

Answer:

The given equation a + c + 2b = a + 2b + c illustrates commutative property of additions.

Explanation:

Given : equation a + c + 2b = a + 2b + c

We have to state which property given equation a + c + 2b = a + 2b + c illustrates.

Commutative property of addition states that for any two numbers a and b the following property holds ,
a+b=b+a

Consider the given equation a + c + 2b = a + 2b + c

Since, the place of c and 2b are interchanged and the operation in between is addition so it is commutative property of additions.

Thus, the given equation a + c + 2b = a + 2b + c illustrates commutative property of additions.
