How did the Egyptian's belief in the afterlife impact daily life, the development of pyramids and cities, mummification, and their religious practices?

because they tried to please the afterlife people (I dunno what they'd be called) by doing good things and avoid doing bad things in hopes of getting rewards and a peaceful afterlife. the pyramids were built souley for the afterlife and cities were based on a style that would appeal to the afterlife people. mumifaction made it easier for the person to enter the afterlife and the religious practices were to honor the afterlife people. good?
