Multiply -2 with x equaling -2x
Multiply -2 with +6 equaling -12
Y - 5 = -2x - 12
Add 12 on both sides
Y - 5 + 12 = -2x - 12 + 12
Y + 7 = -2x
Divide by -2 on both sides

Y + 7 / -2 = -2x/-2

Y + 7
------- = x
- 2
