y-y1=m(x-x1)

find slope
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

so
(-4,-1)
(3,-3)
slope=(-3-(-1))/(3-(-4))=(-3+1)/(3+4)=-2/7

y-(-1)=-2/7(x-(-4))
y+1=-2/7(x+4)
