A vendor is selling hot dogs for $5 and sodas for $3. Write an algebraic expression for the total price of h hot dogs and s sodas.

The expression would be

5h + 3s

You could also add dollar signs before the numbers if you want to be accurate, or have it equal to the variable t (total) in order to make it an equation. Hope this helps!
