4:11 ratio 1:n
To find n, we have to make the left hand sides the same. I suggest that dividing the first one by four will give us one. We have to treat both sides the same, so we divide the 11 by 4 as well, and that gives us the answer.
1 : 2.75.

4:11 = 1 : n
we can write it like this
4 / 11 = 1 / n
the ratio between numerator of 1st fraction and 2nd fraction is 4 times........so to make 2nd fraction equal to 1st fraction we multiply it with 4......it will become = 4 / 4n
if we compare it it will become
4 / 11 = 4 / 4n
4=4 ......this will become 1
11 = 4n ...... n = 11 / 4 = 2.75
so ratio will become 1 : 2.75
HOPE IT HELPED !!
