24 = -5T - 15
+15 +15
39 = -5T
t = -5/39

So, to solve for T, we have to add 15 to both sides
24+15 = -5T
-15+15
(the stuff in bold cancel out)
39 = -5T
Now, we divide both sides by -5
-39/5 =
-5
T/
-5
-7.8 = T
