If you look at all of the problems, look at the signs first.
The symbol > means that the number to the left of it is larger than the number on the right. When this symbol has a line under it, then it is greater than or equal to the number on the right.
The symbol < means that the number to the left is less than the number on the right. When this symbol has a line under it, then it is less than or equal to the number on the right.
To satisfy each of the inequalities, you need to substitute the numbers for x.
For example, look at the first problem.
2(1) = 2
2(3) = 6
2(4) = 8
2(6) = 12
So, 2x is greater than or equal to 8 will be true if x = 8 or 12.
