Please help as soon as possible! Kia's plant is 8 1/5 inches tall and is growing 2/3 of an inch each week. Lyric's plant is 10 7/10 inches tall and is growing 1/6 inch each week. Write and solve an equation to find how many weeks it will take for the height of the two plants to be the same.

I know I'm using y=mx+b but how would I write out my answer and I'm just confused on how I'd solve this.

To find the answer, you find out the height of the plants for each week until they're the same.

Equation: Growth × Week + Original Height

For Kia: 2/3w + 8 1/5
For Lyric: 1/6w + 10 7/10
Kia:
Week 0 = 8 1/5 in.
Week 1 = 8 13/15 in.
Week 2 = 9 8/15 in.
Week 3 = 10 1/5 in.
Week 4 = 10 13/15 in.
Week 5 = 11 8/15 in.

Lyric:
Week 0 = 10 7/10 in.
Week 1 = 10 13/15 in.
Week 2 = 11 1/30 in.
Week 3 = 11 1/5 in.
Week 4 = 11 11/30 in.
Week 5 = 11 8/15 in.
