What is the value of the expression shown below?

3 over 6 to the power of 2 + 7 × 4 − 5

I believe the answer would be 24 for this equation

3/6^2+7x4-5
You have to use PEMDAS
So first you would do the parentheses but you don't have any so you would do exponents so
3/6^2 which is 3/6x3/6= 9/36 and you would simplify that to 1/4.

Then you do multiplication and division. (It doesn't matter which order you do this in) so you would do 7x4=28

Then you do addition and subtraction (doesn't matter which order you do this one either. You have to do which ever comes first in the problem, just like in multiplication and division) so

1/4+28-5
28 1/4-5= 23 1/4

You answer is 23 1/4 I hope this helped :)
