we have the following:

\begin{gathered} -8x+6y=24 \\ 6y=8x+24 \\ y=(8)/(6)x+(24)/(6) \\ y=(4)/(3)x+4 \end{gathered}

therefore, x intercept:

\begin{gathered} y=0 \\ 0=(4)/(3)x+4 \\ (4)/(3)x=-4 \\ x=(-4\cdot3)/(4) \\ x=-3 \\ (-3,0) \end{gathered}

y intercept:

\begin{gathered} x=0 \\ y=(4)/(3)\cdot0+4 \\ y=4 \\ (0,4) \end{gathered}

The answer is:

x-intercept: (-3,0)

y-intercept: (0,4)
