What is the difference between dehydration and overhydration? why does swelling occur with overhydration? what symptoms are similar between these two conditions?

dehydration is not drinking enough water, while over hydration. this part I'm unsure about but I think swelling would occur because there is simply too much water for the body to handle.   A few similarities are light-headedness, headaches and tiredness.
