T = (-5, 0)

R = (1, 2)

S = (7, 4)

Slope TR = (4 - 0) / (7 + 5) = 4/12 = 1/3

Slope RS = (4 - 2) / (7 - 1) = 2/6 = 1/3

Slope TS = (4 - 0) / (7 + 5) = 4/12 = 1/3

The slope was always 1/3 so the rate of change is constant.

The rate of change = 1/3
