Similarities between genotypes and phenotypes? Only similarities please!

A phenotype is a physical manifestation of a genotype.

They represent two separate but related concepts. For example, consider a person who has a certain genotype (AA) that causes a disease. In this example, the genotype is “AA” and the phenotype is “diseased”.
