There are different types of verbs like the simplest one, action verbs are verbs that you actually (remember ACTION verb) do like running, talking, writing..... , then there are linking verbs and helping verbs.Linking verbs are verbs that connect a subject (noun or pronoun) to an adjective or another noun (ex. of linking verbs: am, is, are, was, were, been, being).
