Answer: there is mean absolute deviation of countries is 2.7 countries

Explanation:

since we have given that

0, 1, 1, 2, 5, and 9 countries visited.

so, Mean of all countries visited is given by

\sum x=(0+1+1+2+5+9)/(6)=3

We have to calculate the mean absolute deviation of countries visited.

So, we know the formula:

Mean\ deviation=\sum\mid x_i-\bar{x}\mid\\\\((0-3\mid+(1-3)+(1-3)+(2-3)+(5-3)+(9-3))/(6)\\\\=(\mid-3-2-2-1+2+6\mid)/(6)\\\\=(16)/(6)=2.7\ countries

Hence, there is mean absolute deviation of countries is 2.7 countries.
