So in photosynthesis sunlight is utilized by chlorophyll to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose. Glucose consumes the energy in its bonds and releases it during the respiration process to provide the energy to the cells. So respiration is an exothermic process.

Therefore, glucose produced during photosynthesis is an example of an endothermic reaction.
