Frank Owen Gehry was born in Toronto, Canada, and moved to Los Angeles in 1947, studying architecture at Southern California College and later Urban Planning at Harvard. Frank was well-known for the Guggenheim museum in which it was built in the port area of the city as part of a plan to modernize the industrial area. Its iconic curves molded into titanium have become one of the most famous and worshiped buildings in the world.

One of his most admired works in New York, for example, is a residential building, the Breekman Tower, a gigantic skyscraper located at 8 Sprice Street and characterized by the famous curves of Gehry and the metallic feature that follows most of his construction
