SOLUTION

(a) The equation in function notation is

\begin{gathered} w=23.89h=f(h) \\ w=f(h)=23.89h \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is

w=f(h)=23.89h

(b). f(23) becomes

\begin{gathered} f(h)=23.89h \\ f(23)=23.89*23 \\ f(23)=549.47 \end{gathered}

f(35) becomes

\begin{gathered} f(h)=23.89h \\ f(35)=23.89*35 \\ f(35)=836.15 \end{gathered}

f(41) becomes

\begin{gathered} f(h)=23.89h \\ f(41)=23.89*41 \\ f(h)=979.49 \end{gathered}
