Number of Good Oranges = 2/3 * 48 = 32
Now, Let the number of Oranges taken by David = x
Taken by Ben = x + 8
It is given that, x + x+8 = 32
2x = 32 - 8
x = 24/2
x = 12
In short, David takes 12 Oranges
Hope this helps!
