In order to simplify this expression, we can combine the terms with the variable n, like this:


\begin{gathered} 7n+2-7n \\ =(7n-7n)+2 \end{gathered}

Since the terms with the variable n have opposite coefficients (+7 and -7), the sum will be equal to zero:


\begin{gathered} (7n-7n)+2 \\ =(0)+2 \\ =2 \end{gathered}

Therefore the simplified result is 2.
