Distinguish between expressions and equations algebraically by providing an example of an algebraic expression and an example of an algebraic equation

algebraic expression always have an equal sign (=)

x^3-2x is an algebraic expression. Note that there is NO "=" sign here.

x^4 + 4x^2 + 4 = 0 is an algebraic equation. Note the presence of an "=" sign.
