Explanation:

there are 3 x-intercepts (the x- values when y = 0). because y is only 0, when one of the 3 factors is 0.

and that is the case for

x = -7

x = -1

x = 2

so, formally, the x- intercepts are

(-7, 0), (-1, 0), (2, 0)

the y intercept is the y- value when x = 0.

(0 + 7)(0 + 1)(0 - 2) = 7×1×-2 = -14

the y-intercept is formally

(0, -14)
