The sum of the measure of the interior angles of a polygon is 1080°.

First, you would do 1080 / 180, because 180 is the sum of the angles in a triangle. Then, you would get the answer of 6. Since the triangles on the left and right of a shape is left out, you would do 6 + 2 = 8. Ask yourself: Which polygon has 8 sides: An octagon!!!
