Explanation:

a. 2x + 7 = x^2 + 4

b. move all terms to the left side and set equal to zero. then set each factor equal to zero. which gives you the x values 3, -1

c. substitute x with the x values to get y. 2(3) + 7 = -1^2 + 4

d. the solution is (3,13 ) & (-1,5)
