Solve: 4 − 17 = 5( + 3)

it would be false because if you do 4-17 it is 13 while 5(+3) is 15, you get 15 not 8 because if a number has ( ) around them it means to multiply, the +3 does not mean anything besides telling you that it is a positive not a negative
