PLEASE HELP I'M CONFUSED! The measures of two adjacent angles have a ratio of 3:5. The sum of the measures of the two adjacent angles is 120°. What is the measure of the larger angle?

3:5 =120:x
120/3=40
5*40=200
120:200
Since 120 is the smaller angle, it's the 3 in the ratio, so you really just have to make them equivalent

75°. So divide 120 by 8, then multiply 8 with 15. That's the measure of the larger angle.
