Jaime knows that the area of a triangle can be found by the formula a=1/2bh. If the area of a triangle is 3.8 m2 and the height is 4.6 meters, what is the length of the base rounded to the nearest tenth of a meter?

Triangle area = .5* (base * height)
3.8 = ( base * 4.6 ) / 2
7.6 / 4.6 = base
base = 1.652173913
or base = 1.6 rounded
