Which organs process sugar in the body and what do they do with it?

The organs would be the liver. The liver is an insulin-guided organ: Its behavior changes depending on the level of the hormone insulin in the body and how sensitive the liver is to that insulin.

The pancreas processes sugar and then turns it into insulin, and some of it is stored as fat.
