All 3 sides are equal in an equilateral triangle...

2x - 5 = 3x - 22
-5 + 22 = 3x - 2x
17 = x

2x - 5 = 2(17) - 5 = 34 - 5 = 29
3x - 22 = 3(17) - 22 = 51 - 22 = 29
x + 12 = 17 + 12 = 29

as u can see, all sides measure 29 inches

Answer:

29 inches.

Explanation:

Given that, the three sides of an equilateral triangle are
(x + 12), (2x - 5),(3x - 22)

As we know that, the sides of an equilateral triangle are of same length.

So,

\Rightarrow x + 12=2x - 5

\Rightarrow 2x - x=12+5

\Rightarrow x=17

Putting the value of x in each expressions,

x + 12=17+12=29

2x -5=34-5=29

3x -22=51-22=29

So the side length is 29 inches.
