The rate of first tree's height = 3 + 1x
Of second tree = 4 + 0.5x
Where, x = number of years.
So, 3 + 1x = 4 + 0.5x
1x - 0.5x = 4 - 3
0.5x = 1
x = 1/ 0.5
x = 2
In short, Your Answer would be 2 Years
Hope this helps!
