If you double the net force on an object what is the result on the acceleration

This isn't bio but;
Using Newton's second Law
F=ma

if F=2F, a=?

F=ma
2F=ma
a= 2F/m

Looking at F=ma, we can infer acceleration is directly porportional to force. If the force is doubled, the acceleration is also doubled
