B) Just substitute the value of x from equation 1 into equation 2,
y = -2x - 4

y = -2y - 8 - 4
y + 2y = -12
y = -12/3
y = -4

Now, substitute it into first equation,
x = y + 4
x = -4 + 4
x = 0

In short, Your Answers would be: x = 0 & y = -4
