If there are 26 students in each third-grade class and 3 third-grade classes in the school, how many students will attend an assembly for third graders if a total of 4 students are absent?

Just multiply the number of student in all the classes or 26x3 and the subtract 4
since they will be absent and your answer is 74

26 x 3 would be 78 so that's the total 3rd grade students in the school if 4 are gone the it would be 78-4= 74 so the answer would be 74 students
