jimmys dog,barky, was on a leash that was anchored in the ground. if the leash was 9 feet long, how much space did barky have to play on? round to nearest tenth.

The dog's leash is in the center of his circular playground.  The max. distance the dog could be from this center is 9 feet.  This could be interpreted as the radius of the circle.  What is the formula for the area of a circle of radius r?  Apply that formula to find the area of this circle of radius 9 feet.  Round off your answer to the nearest tenth square foot.  (We measure this space in square feet.)

I think it would be 0.09 which would be 0.9 so 9 feet
