Students’ essays should reflect how the Crusades brought Europe into contact with other civilizations, from which they learned a great deal. The Crusaders contributed to the increase of trade by demanding more of the goods found in Asia. This increased demand, in turn, led to yet more trade with the Muslim world. Using what they learned, such as navigation techniques, Europeans then sought trade with civilizations on other continents. Contacts with Muslim scholars and their preserved Greek and Roman texts brought the Europeans a wealth of knowledge about medicine, art, and government, much of which contributed to the change and learning during the Renaissance.

hope it helped!!! \^U^/

The Crusades helped lead to the Renaissance because as soldiers came home, they brought new ideas and ways to do things, as well as goods for the community. The Crusades opened the eyes of the people, allowing them to birth a new way of life, thus the Renaissance. As we all know, this began to encourage people with the newfound information to pursue new passions, such as writing and painting. The Crusades, basically, sprouted new professions and views, making the Renaissance a big deal.
