What are the main characteristics of the Hindu religion?

A large part is the cycle of samsara - the cycle of life, death and rebirth, which involves karma, a way of calculating how good a person you are, and if your good enough you reach Nirvana. Another important part is that they believe in multiple Gods, but at the same time only beleive in one who comes in many parts.
